ABOUT

Something about game development inspires me in a way that most things do not. Every day pushing me to learn more by solving problems and creating everything that I have in mind. On multiple occasions I feeled burnt out face to a problem or on the point to swear off, yet I’m continually compelled to come back and try again until I found how to do. Learning is a hard way but such addictive...

Right after graduating from Maths, Computer Sciences applied to cognitives sciences, I was convinced that I wanted to fully get into computer sciences and merge it with one of my passion : video games.

I am currently pursuing a MS in Game developement and Computer Programming at IIM ( Institut de l'Internet et du multimédia - Paris La Défense - FRANCE ) and aim to land a job as a gameplay programmer. It's a fascinating and complete work as he can be as varied as coding the playable character, the artificial intelligence, the animations, the user interface or the multiple gameplay elements used by the game designers. It’s about coding what is specific to the game.

Even though my portfolio exclusively contains games, I plan on building too, during by free time, some other projects , like game engine in the coming years and learning more. Over years I feel more and more attracted by micro mechanisms and that's why I planned to learn about rendering engine, physics engine and devellop my skills in artificial Intelligence.

Below you will find my relevant skills as of late :

SFML + C++

         During my free time, I had a bit of fun to remake basics games without any help of any engine. Only thanks to the SFML library, that meant i developed new methods and learned to do without all tools that we can have to used on the common engines like Unity and Unreal.

OpenGL + C++

         After my SFML experience, my wish to push my knowledge took me to look at OpenGL, for the purposes of learning bases of 3D rendering and why not make my own engine in the long run.

Unity + C#

         I’ve been using C# with Unity since 2017. I am always learning and making greater use of the features of C# with each and every project.

Unreal + Blueprint

         I had the opportunity to make a game from scratch with the Unreal Engine. During two weeks we have learned at school. First, to experiement with materials and shaders and the second week, we have discovered different tools (Niagara, LD tools or communication between blueprints..)

When I have some free time left, I enjoy challenging myself on problem solving. So I spend some on my time on CodeInGames and HackerPlan

Apart from programmation, I enjoy science fiction, classic litterature (Zola, Maupassant, Stendhal...) and of course video games.
I'm big fan of simulation game, mostly racing (Project Cars, Grand Turismo, Dirt rally...) but also games like Flight Simulator or Kerbal Space Program. I also take some of my time on RTS game (Starcraft II) and shooting game.
